Based in Parlin, New Jersey, Ricci Melendez is owner of the construction and home automation firm IbuildI.T. Working with small business and residential clients, he conceptualizes and undertakes interior and exterior renovations involving kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing, and lighting. Ricci Melendez also installs home theater systems and helps envision concepts such as man caves, playhouses, and home bars.

Mr. Melendez also serves as principle of the IT technology consulting enterprise SMDR Associates, where he provides custom solutions that fulfill client-user demands. His responsibilities include project design integration and enterprise software implementation. He also negotiates the cost, scope, and timeline of services provided.

Ricci Melendez has also led the Peace Rose Montessori School since 2019. His family-owned preschool meets the educational needs of 120 kids from age 0 to 6. He has managed the creation of a technology-integrated student and office workspace and developed a successful marketing approach that has reached out to families throughout the local area. He has also expanded the school’s social media and website presence while handling organizational budgeting and finances.
